There is a child within me

There is a child within me
Who asks me questions, when I want to cry.
Engulfed in the momenterious fury; I shun the thoughts away.
What if he wanted to help?
I could have tried him.
When grim again, hope he visits.
Hope he plays with my sorrows
and loses  it in the dark.
Hope he comes when I am alone
His identity is a big question mark.
People think I am insane
But, you tell me, in this world,
Who has both oars in water?
It has spilled for all
and it will be so forever
It’s not the vessel but the
Voyager who has snapped.
His wings have broken
under constant encumbrance.
His voyage, incomplete.
His first defeat.

There is a child within me
He helps me remain sane...
